Department of SPM |
| The department of SPM was established in the year 1962 and the first H.O.D. was Dr. H.K. Gandhi. The M.D. course was started in the year 1978 and the total admissions are three per year. The Ph.D. Biomedical was started in 1984. The department has its two peripheral unit i.e. urban health centre in Loha Mandi, Agra and RHTC at Saiyan, also have immunization clinic which runs daily. |

Special Units |
- Immunization clinic, situated in the department which runs daily and provides immunization services for all VPDs under national programmes.
- Model Injection Centre (MIC) : the immunization clinic of the department also acts as MIC to demonstrate the ideal injection practices and safe disposal of biomedical wastes under India CLEN, AIIMS, New Delhi.

| Achievements Regarding department |
- The department is nominated for training, monitoring and evaluation of strengthening of routine immunization programme.
- The department has prepared training modules for medical officers and health workers on various training programmes like RI, Nutrition.
- The department has conducted various research projects in various community health fields like maternal mortality, nutrition (MCHN), IPPI, Industrial Health, RI, NFHS, CATA, IMNCI etc.
- Training conducted various training programmes for various health functionaries on subjects like rehabilitation, nutrition, safe delivery, RI, PPI, CSSM, RCH, HIV/AIDS, Cold Chain etc.
Others :-
- The department is providing hospital statistical assistance in research work to the faculty and PG students of various departments of the college and also runs a statistical unit of the college.
